Life: Creating Good

W.H.O.L.E.H.E.A.R.T.E.D. Core Pillar

God wants us to become creators like himself. When we create, it comes from a combination of the divine inner maker of our inheritance along with our past experiences. Everything we make is a snapshot, a relic of who we are up to that point in our existence. We can be pointed and focused with what we create. Making each artifact more and more meaningful and intentionally representative of who we are. God inspires this process to fulfill a core part of who we are as his children, creators.

Symbol: Clay

Clay is the most elemental medium for sculpture and form. It is malleable and soft and can be shaped to become something magnificent when used with purpose and thoughtfulness. It has connection to God forming us from the "dust". We too can form with "dust" (clay). When the shape is finished, it is fired or cured. This process will show fractures in any fragile or poorly formed sculpture.
