My Personal Life
I was born a proud Texan from McCallen/Rio Grande area and raised in Salt Lake City and rural Utah. I am the 8th child of 13 and we have plenty of stories that will make you wonder why we haven’t written a book yet! I attended high school on the Navajo Reservation in Monument Valley Utah and spent my college years at the U of U, BYU, and USU. I’m proud to claim myself as a Runnin' Ute, Cougar Fan, and a True Aggie!
Working through some very tough marital experiences with my husband, Phil, over the past 25 years has deepened my skill set for working with couples in the therapy room. Phil and I have five awesome children (four daughters + one son) and two perfect grandchildren. Much of our family life was spent in South Eastern Idaho, so I have a soft spot in my heart for cowboys and country. We have been back in Utah since 2014 and absolutely adore Cache Valley! I love outdoor adventures, vacationing at the beach, movies, classical guitar, playing basketball, college football season, creative arts, summer concerts, trying new foods, podcasts, audiobooks, my dogs Bo and Mae, and hitting up thrift stores.
