what's going on you guys Tyler you're wondering therapist here down at Biscayne key in Miami Florida it's a thunderstorm going on all around us right now but we just came down and saw this Lighthouse here so beautiful and you guys can see the scenery behind me the storm coming in but I just wanted to Message share a thought because I'm here thinking about lighthouses and what their purpose was you know a lighthouse was designed originally to prevent Sailors from running aground and killing themselves and crashing their ships especially in the night and especially in the storms I was just thinking about how valuable that is to think about in terms of what we can be for other people there's a song that I heard a long time ago it's one of my favorite hymns that they sing at church still sometimes called the lights along the shore talks about the Lower Lights that burn along the shore that lead to the lighthouse and how the lighthouse maybe symbolizes somebody like Christ who is the true source of joy and peace and happiness and Redemption but that each of us gets a chance to to be one of the Lower Lights and the song part of the lyrics says let the Lower Lights be burning send a gleam across the wave some poor fainting struggling semen you may rescue you may save and I believe that that's kind of what we were all designed to be is a lower light that leads to the True Light but that we get a chance to influence other people we get a chance to be a lower light a chance to rescue a chance to save and sometimes we get to receive that from other people too so just a thought that maybe that's what you are to somebody today whether you reach out to them with a kind word or whether you go to an active service or whether you just live your life through example of trying to follow Christ you might be acting as a lower light and we're all designed to do that we're all designed to shine and I hope you guys have an awesome day Outro thank you so much for being here with me if you found this to be valuable for you please hit the like And subscribe button if you're facing particular struggles that you need help with or roadblocks that you're running into please submit a question I'd be happy to answer it for you [Music]
