About Your Yoga Instructor

Keela Warburton

200 RYT

Mikaela (aka Keela) was raised in Ogden, UT. She loves camping, hiking, creating, eating all things coconut, and being in the rain. She is a mother of 2 and wife to her husband who she adores. Experiencing betrayal trauma in her marriage through her spouses sexual addiction, she began her personal healing journey in 2020.  The outdoors and yoga became her sacred space of healing where she was able to reconnect with her heart, identity, worth, and God.  After experiencing this healing shift in her life, she decided to go on to get her 200hr RYT Yoga Teaching Certificate and become Trauma Yoga Certified to create a space to invite others to reconnect with their souls and find the healing she continues to find through these practices. Mikaela’s approach to yoga is built around strengthening the heart, mind, body, and soul through movement, mindfulness, and meditation.

                  YOGA TESTIMONIALS

"Keela Does An Amazing Job! "

I discovered trauma informed yoga through Love Strong shortly after I experienced my betrayal trauma. At first, it was difficult to push myself to go. I had a hard time spending time and money on myself, especially at a time when I was in survival and couldn’t show up for my family the way I had hoped. I am so grateful I pushed myself to do it! Yoga has had a big impact on pulling me through the darkness. It was one of the few places that I could feel safe and at peace. Keela does an amazing job at helping you to stay grounded and to be mindful of what your mind and body needs. Keela also helped me to find alternative poses while I was pregnant, and continues to offer alternatives to help you have a more comfortable experience. While I still find myself leaving satisfied that I got a good workout, I am more satisfied that I leave feeling more in tune with myself.

" She Makes You Feel Welcomed !"

Keela creates a safe and nurturing space for participants to explore their bodies and emotions at their own pace . From the moment I stepped into that room, Keela fosters an environment of compassion and acceptance, while gently guiding us through each pose with awareness of individual boundaries. She is very compassionate and dedicated to help other women who may have experienced trauma in their life. The yoga classes allow me to reconnect with myself and find peace. I was very hesitant of doing yoga at first since I am not flexible and I had no experience with yoga at all, but after the first class I felt so much peace and had to come back for more.  Regardless of your background or experience with yoga, Keela makes sure everyone feels welcomed and supported!
